Privacy policy

In short: we collect only what we need to review your request, we never sell your information, and you can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time.

1. Who we are

Magma Web ("we") is a business based in Montreal, Quebec. The protection of personal information is the responsibility of Magma Web's management. For any question or request about it, write to us through the contact form and choose "Privacy inquiry" in the Type of request list.

2. What we collect

When you fill in the review form: your name, your website address, your email, your phone number (optional), the type of request and your message.

This site uses no advertising cookies or tracking tools. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first. If you switch languages on the site, your browser remembers that choice locally for your next visits; it isn't sent to us.

3. Why we use it

• To review your request and decide whether your business can be selected.
• To contact you if it is selected.
• To keep a record of our exchanges.

We never sell, rent or trade your information.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need to run the site and our communications (hosting, email), who are contractually required to protect it. Some may be located outside Quebec; we assess their safeguards before entrusting them with any information. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Requests that aren't selected are deleted no later than 12 months after we receive them. If we work together, we keep your information for the length of our business relationship and as long as the law requires.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access and disclosure. Only the people who need it to review your request can access it.

7. Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your information, correct it, withdraw your consent or have it deleted. Write to us through the contact form and choose "Privacy inquiry"; we reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

8. Changes

We'll post any change here with its date. If a change is significant, we'll let you know before it applies to your information.
